Entrepreneurship - "Mahila Udhyogini" project is Community Based
Entrepreneurship Program for Women. In partnership with a Mumbai-based
NGO, The contribution to this program will help 10-15 women from the
marginalized community to establish/scale their businesses on a
sustainable basis creating a long-term impact of sustained livelihood
and improved standard of living for the supported women and their
families

GURUJI EDUCATION Foundation

The Guruji Education Foundation works to fund one hundred high-potential students annually to help in their holistic development, using education as a foundational block for their growth. We provide a bedrock of personal mentorship, financial assistance and any other resources, setting them up for success so that one day they might continue in our cycle of giving, inclusivity and change.

The project intends to improve income through up skilling and livelihood generation of adivasi and traditional forest dweller communities in Surguja. This will be done through setting up a leaf plate manufacturing unit for 15 villages belonging to 6 revenue villages (gram panchayats) covering a population of about 8000. It would serve as a model sustainable rural enterprise for the local people. The local community would be up skilled from their present perennial vocation of Sal & Siali leaf collection to a collective of leaf stitchers and leaf plate manufacturers as part of the project. Once established, the project activities would be expanded to 15 gram panchayats. Sustainability of the project has been accounted for at each step and this fund would act as a seed for future growth of the local community.
